Friedrich Würthle (1820 - 1902)

Landscape painter, engraver, photographer and publisher. Studied in Karlsruhe under C.L. Frommel. Since 1840 he lived in Munich and since 1860 in Salzburg. There he founded an own publishing house, which was continued by his son (from 1905 in Vienna) until 1912.
