Familie von Kupferstechern und Verlegern in Augsburg. Johannes Georg Bodenehr (1631 – 1704). Verleger von Atlanten und geographischen Büchern. Sein Sohn Gabriel Bodenehr (1664 – 1758) übernahm 1716 die Kupferplatten von Johann Stridbeck (1640 – 1716), die er, überarbeitet und durch eigene Karten und Ansichten erweitert, in mehreren Werken veröffentlichte. 1758 ging der Verlag an Georg Christian Kilian (1709 - 1781) über.
