"Maharadscha Man Sikh, Jodhpur" (1783-1843) (?)

Der Fürst auf einem gelben Teppich sitzend, vor sich viele unterschiedliche winzige goldene Gefäße, dazwischen auch Früchte. Er blickt vertieft auf einen kleinen kostbaren, goldenen Miniaturpavillon, darin ein Prinz und sein gefolge vor der Jagd (?).

Feine farbenfrohe Malerei mit Deckfarben und echt Gold auf Karton, ringsum breiter rotgelackter Rand. Nord-Indien, 19. Jahrhundert.

Blattgröße: 25,7 x 21,5 cm
