Title page, complete with 46 full-page (incl. 23 double-paged) copper engravings by Dominicus Custos. 46 genealogical trees of Christian potentates and princes, compiled by the Florentine nobleman Antonio Albizzi (1547-1626). Albizzi also added the historical and topographical descriptions (verso).

The first edition by Dominicus Custos, Augsburg 1609.  Here an edition by Christoph von der Heyden Heirs, Strasbourg 1627.

Finely engraved family trees with decorative city views. Original vellum binding with general signs of wear. Spine partly damaged and professionally restored. Altogether in very good condition!
