Regency table globe, London, Newton & Son and Berry, 66 Chancery Lane, London 1841

The globe with twelve old coloured copper engraved segments, inscribed: "Newton's New and Improved Terrestrial Globe... published Febr. 2nd 1841".
Mounted on a mahogany stand with three mahogany legs tied by stretchers to a central support. The meridian ring with cardinal points, signs of the zodiac and month indications.

Decorative rare table globe with its original wooden frame, some minor flaws in the varnish, altogether in very good condition.
