Map of the World in two hemispheres. The map shows how the tribes of Israel were disseminated, with explanations in Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and Syiac. In the position of Australia an unusual island is shown. First state of Montanu’s famous world Map. Most items of this first edition had been lost at sea on their way to Spain.
