Large map on two sheets depicting the former territory of the Holy Roman Empire at the time of the Thirty Years‘ War. Included is Germania with the bordering countries, Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, Italy and Istria.

Engraving printed from two plates from the atlas "Isolario" by Vincenzo Coronelli (1650 - 1718), verso text and two copper engraving views, the island of Gotland with its capital Visby and the harbour city of Kiel. Venice around 1692.

Format (overall): 57 x 89 cm

Very nice impression on strong laid paper, horizontal centrefold, few small stains alongside the wide margins, otherwise in very good condition.
