Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858)

Merchant ships and fishing boats off Tsukuda Island in Edo Bay. Mount Fuji rises from the evening glow on the horizon. A flock of plovers flies over the water.

Very nice impression and colours. Unbacked. Some small stitching holes in left margin, some small paper damages and losses in margins restored. paper in margin minimally toned. The usual block flaw below the birds, a fibre in the paper. Some superficial soiling and printing smudges. Overall very good condition.
