Two turtles. A large minogame resting on an overhanging rock, a smaller pond turtle climbing out of the water below.

Signature: Kôgyo

Seal: Kôgyo

Publisher: Matsuki Heikichi

Date: Around 1900

Size: Shikishiban, 24,1 x 25 cm

Excellent impression and colour. Unbacked. Rright and upper margin faintly mat stained, few tiny brown stains at right and left outermost edges. Overall very nice condition. A rarely seen print.
The minogame turtle is a lucky symbol of longevity.
