Saitô Kiyoshi (1907-1997)
A rural scene in late autumn or winter. Between large old farmhouses with thatched roofs and thick earthen walls, a woman walks very upright with a bundle of wood on her head. A large persimmon tree bears the last bright red persimmon fruits.

Excellent impression and colours. The black areas with lustre printing. Paper a little bit age-toned, a little staining in bottom margin. Vertical creases along the lateral margins (unobtrusive), slight creasing, mainly in the margins. Overall very good condition. A rarely seen, beautiful and characteristic print by the artist.
