Title: Yo-uchi Sôga (The night attack of the Sôga)
Series: Hyaku Fuji (Hundred Fuji)
Publisher: Takekawa Risaburô, Tokyo
Date: Meiji 29 (1896)
Size: Vertical Oban, 32,5 x 21,7 cm
Excellent impression and colours, printed with some metal pigment and gauffrage. Full wide margins (not pictured here). Paper minimally age toned, else excellent condition.
A rarely seen series by Gekkô, from which only three prints are known or have been published at all. The relation to Mt. Fuji here is given indirectly through the story illustrated.
