Isoda Koryûsai (1735-1790)

Sambasô dancer and a woman are making backstage love, she is unmasking him, on the floor next to them is lying his pavillon chinois. Behind the raised curtain we can see the spectators of the New Year's dancing performance.

Size: Chûban, 18,7 x 25,2 cm

Very fine impression, still nice colours, with relief printing. Paper a little bit trimmed. Right and lower margin a tiny bit worn and creased, a few spots, otherwise good condition due to its age. Rare item.
