Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798-1861)

Sasa Narimasa was a retainer of Oda Nobunaga (N° T01), Shibata Katsuiye (N° T03), and Toyotomi Hideyoshi (N° T50) successively. He was made administrator of the privince of Higo (Kyushu) by Hideyoshi, but later on he quarrelled with his lord and was forced to take his own life.

Condition: Perfect impression, good to very good colours. Originally mounted on very thin paper. Some of the woodblock prints are partly trimmed, some a little bit time-stained, otherwise very good condition.
