A farmer's wife is polishing rice with a water-driven machinery.
Date: Shôwa 15 (1940)
Size: 27,4 x 37,8 cm
Very nice colours and impression. With the address: „Akita-shi, Teppô-chô 45“ at the left margin. A little bit creased at upper margin. Somewhat spotted throughout, at the front side only to be seen at the margins. At all very good condition.
An exceptionally nice picture by this autodidactic Sôsaku-Hanga artist, who especially depicted the traditions and celebrations of his native country, the northern Japanese province Akita.
