Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892)

A hunched old woman in a lonely old dilapidated house is peering around the corner with a torch to see whether her prospective murder victim is asleep. A scene from the old japanese horror story "Onibaba", also known as "The old hag of Adachigahara".
