Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798-1861)

Scene from a Kabuki play (not identified): Two men are fighting with a spear against a hugh centipede. At the left side another man is protecting a joung woman. In the upper right corner of each print a portrait of an actor is shown in a round cartouche.

Good impression and colours. A little bit faded and paper somewhat creased. Old Japanese hand-written remarks (actors' names etc.) on each print. Separate sheets, not mounted. Very good, clean condition.
